Swan Records S-4182-S She Loves You b/w I'll Get You The BEATLES.   Four SWAN 45 rpm records including rare 1963 white label red print 45rpm, picture sleeve and rare circa 1963 SWAN record mailer.  Scarce original RARE 1963 glossy WHITE label RED print SWAN 45rpm along with three circa 1964 BLACK label silver print versions.  According to Author BRUCE SPIZER in his great book entitled Swan Song this white label red print version is very rare and was pressed in late fall when SWAN finally got the rights to She Loves You.   The contract called for Swan Records to sell 50,00 records in order to retain right to future Beatles recordings but Swan sold just under 1000 copies of the white label red print version.  It was not until 1964 when The Beatles really hit it big in America that SWAN pressed and sold over 2.5 million copies of the black label version 45's some issued with a picture sleeve making the 1963 white label red print version extremely rare and one that all collectors want in their collections.   All four SWAN 45rpm records including the rare WHITE label RED print 45rpm have both a Swan Records serial number and Mastering RECO ART Phila. PA...... DEEPLY stamped into the matrix.
 NOTE BEWARE...COUNTERFEIT COPIES of  the SWAN white label red print 45rpm of She Loves You do not have a RECO ART PHILA MASTERING stamp, some have just a lightly stamped serial number with a flat white label with maroon print.
The 1963 glossy WHITE with RED PRINT label 45rpm offered here is in VG condition with surface scuffs and scratches mainly on side two. I played it on my turntable and it did not skip and sounded great but I don't have the best equipment so this record could have some hiss etc.  that I could not hear but may be heard on a more sophisticated system.  However, I believe this beautiful 45rpm should play through just fine. 
These 1963 FIRST ISSUE WHITE label RED print 45rpm records are very hard to find in any condition and counterfeits exist. (See Bruce Spizer book)  The white label red print SWAN labels are clean and the record presents very well. The black SWAN 45rpm records are all excellent unplayed condition and have beautiful labels. A nice set with the key 1963 white label red print She Loves You! 
The black label 45rpm records each have unique labels   She Loves You in plain print no George Martin credit,  "She Loves You" with quotation marks lacking the George Martin credit  She Loves You without quotation marks with George Martin credit.
