Description
Solomon Ilori and his Afro-Drum Ensemble - African High Life. Blue Note 4136. Deep groove pressing with van gelder and ear in the dead wax, 43 west 61st adress on the sleeve. See pictures for more detail. The vinyl is VG+ with full gloss and full audio-fidelity. The main fact keeping it from a higher grade is the fact that there is groovewear during +/- 40 seconds of track A1 which causes some distortion in the voice. The sleeve is VG+ to EX - fully laminated and with bright colors. Slight mottling of the cardboard on the back and a small stain that can be seen in picture 2.

Near Mint
- Shiny and dark vinyl.
- No marks, except for very, very slight flaws in the vinyl that may have to do with the pressing.
- Little or no surface noise when played.
- An almost pristine copy.
EX
- Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
- One or two small surface marks that won't affect play.
- May have some pressing flaws and discoloration in the vinyl.
- Possible minor surface noise between tracks.
Very Good +
- Vinyl still has most of its luster and shine.
- Can have a few small marks that are more visual and will hardly affect play at all.
- Will have some signs of use like superficial scuffs.
- May have slight surface noise between tracks and during quiet passages, but never loud or overpowering.
Very Good
- Vinyl may have many light marks, but plays fairly well.
- May play with a small amount of surface noise, and the occasional small click in part of a song.
- A copy that was played by someone a number of times, and is a good "play copy".
- No skips or large scratches
