JAPANESE PRESSING RED VINYL
ODEON RECORDS OR 7041 (MONO)
TOSHIBA MUSICAL INDUSTRIES LTD
VINYL: VG+ ____ superficial scratches/hairline scratches all over seen when held on bright light. No deep scratch that can be felt. Nice luster. Labels have plenty of spindle marks
(labels are matte finish which are very sensitive to scratches). First pressing with the words "LONG PLAYING" printed on bottom of label. No original sleeve.
COVER: G+ _______ laminated cover. bumps on corners. crease on front. no splits on spine. bit of browning. No OBI.
Includes lyric sheet in English. some brown spots (you have to consider this is now a 50 year-old record).
Visual and conservative Grading only.
I have never played this record since purchase so i do not know how it sounds. SOLD-AS-IS. Please see pictures of item.

FYI:
Most if not all of the red vinyl OR and OP Odeon LPs were manufactured with an ingredient intended to prevent the buildup of static electricity on the disks. TOSHIBA's trademark for records manufactured with this ingredient is "Ever Clean", and special efforts were made to promote this feature. The words "MFD. BY TOSHIBA MUSICAL INDUSTRIES LTD. IN JAPAN" was printed at the perimeter, and "LONG PLAYING" was printed at the bottom of the label.... This is the first album released in Japan. The Japanese version looks similar to the U.S. version but has a different track listing, a red and orange (rather than brown and blue) front cover title, and a different back cover. Original price was 1500yen.
