Description
Up for auction is my vinyl single by the Sex Pistols "Submission" in used and played condition with a unique handmade cover. This is the one sided 7" of Submission. Another great homemade cover from back in the late 70's. This one features cut outs from Smash Hits and the music papers of the day. This is a unique, one off piece of fan art. The vinyl is in pretty good shape with only a few light surface marks and it plays well.
Back in the late 70’s, early 80’s not all singles came in picture covers so fans of the bands used to make their own. All the covers I’m listing were handmade circa 79/80/81 using cuttings from music magazines of the day such as NME, Sounds, Melody Maker and Smash Hits. These are a real rare slice of music history and fan art and each one is totally unique! I have about fifteen different covers and singles by various punk bands and I’ll be listing them over the next couple of days. Grab a really rare piece of punk rock cultural history!
I’ll post these out, wrapped first in plastic, in sturdy “music max” corrugated cardboard record mailers by Defenda.
