You get the BEST from the BUDGIE
I wish I still had a record player to listen to this album. The title attracted me instantly, but I really want to hear it after reading the liner notes on the back. The tragic lives of these female vocalists / entertainers.
The original recordings on the album are from the 1920’s and 1930’s. This is a reissued album that does not show a date, but research on Billboard gives the date as 1955.
Plus, the Cover art is great - frameable
Would be a fabulous Valentine gift - and since when I hear Fanny Brice I think Barbara Streisand, this would be a grand gift for a Streisand fan.
This early reissue appears to be rather scarce.

I am not an expert in selling records and I no longer have a working turntable, but I do have several what appear to me to be special old vinyl 45s and some 33 albums. I will list all of the information on the record and try to give you an accurate visual description of the condition of the record. I have reviewed the vinyl carefully by sight and by feel.
Condition:
Cover:
The cover still has a tiny bit of the original plastic still on it, also a scuff on the righthand side of the front cover. The back cover shows some light discoloration and the name of the previous owner at the top. No interior paper sleeve
Record:
Both sides of the vinyl are still shiny but I do see some very light superficial scratches. I ran my fingers over the scratches and I could not feel them, but I can see some.
It looks like it will play well, possibly with some scratching, but possibly better.
