Released on the 17th of April 1964, this album was the first Stones' album on the DECCA label. There have been many pressings of this album in the following years-With the first AND second pressings having the shortened version of MONA. This pressing is the 2nd, with the corrected and longer version of 'I Need You Baby' (Earlier titled: 'Mona')

EX-!! There are only very light wispy light marks to her...and not many of them either-SUPERB.
I have just listened to ALL of it and it just sounds like the Stones at their raw best!
CERTAINY NO JUMPS OR SKIPS ON MY TECHNICS SL-BD20D
Deep rich bass and VERY clear audio sound reproduction.
There is only minimal background noise, heard in the very quiet sections-This would be improved further with just a very gentle professional clean.
She is lovely and flat-a real beauty to listen to and hear the start of something huge!

The labels EX-!..Clear and bright, with the lucious deep red colour associated with the first early MONO pressings. They have quite a few light traces of spindle marks, visible when angled to the light-with barely any  hole wear....!

The prescence of the 'N' before the mastertape number is there.

The Inner EX-! It is the ALL ORIGINAL DECCA heavyweight paper inner, with the poly-lining.
Unusually: "BRITISH patent No. 800513   (but:) FOREIGN PATENTS PENDING" Never seen that before.
Great shape with just some discoloration through age, where the original glue has come through the paper in light patches.
Certainly looked after the vinyl all of these years.
VERY RARE IN IT'S OWN RIGHT-ESPECIALLY IN THIS LOVELY CONDITION!

All in all this is a lovely CLEAN copy of The Stones' first album, which in itself is VERY HARD TO FIND...Most of these were taken to wild parties and trashed.
Plays through with GREAT AUDIO REPRODUCTION FROM QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL, WHEN THEY KNEW HOW TO MAKE 'EM!
THE COVER IS IN SUPER SHAPE, AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE IMAGES. ALL TOGETHER WITH THE INCREASINGLY RARE ORIGINAL INNER IN SUPERB SHAPE
