Description

From 1920, 78 rpm: this is possibly the very first female recording of the famous W.C. Handy standard, "ST. LOUIS BLUES" sung here by MARION HARRIS with "HOMESICKNESS BLUES" on the opposite side in VG+ condition with very nice gloss on this early jazz / blues recording released on COLUMBIA A2944.   Marion Harris left the Victor label early in her career as they had objected to her desire to record blues songs such as here.   

This record will be securely packed in a new 12x12x4 box with cardboard pads, bubble wrap and packing peanuts or other fillers. ?
