Incredibly early press with -1/-1 Matrix endings with 1/M Mother/Stamper

Roll up, roll up all ye Beatles fans....Here's The Beatles' YELLOW SUBMARINE....
This was The Beatles' eleventh official album release and interestingly enough, the first album of theirs to included non-Beatles material. Released, after a delay, in mid January the album made it up the UK charts to the 3rd position....With The Beatles' 'White' album denying it the top slot.
There were only modest sales-in comparison with other Beatles releases-as the sales were around 800,000 within the first three months, but it did go over1 million sales by the end of the year. This could have had something to do with the album having only four original tracks and the rest was George Martin's film score.

So, here's the details of this album up for auction:

There are many light marks to this gloriously heavy slab of original vinyl..BUT
After giving her a gentle vaccum clean,I played her all the way through and found a wonderfully deep and rich sound reproduction.
There was the occasional light crackle of background noise evident between the songs, with the more delicate insrumental side 2 showing a little light background crackle-which I thought was quite warming, rather than annoying.
The singular point of note is a tiny micro-skip on track 4, side 2...I think this will easily play over with a slightly heavier stylus than mine...It barely even misses a beat, it is that small. I also found a light revolutionary pop at the end of the last track on side 2, but this disappeared after around 10 revolutions.
Flat, heavy and an all original 1st press recording.

She has the all important statement "Sold in the U.K...." showing it is a first press as well as "Mfd. in U.K."...If you needed any more convincing other than those
 HUGELY EARLY MOTHERS/STAMPERS.
Nice dark 1st printing run Apple, rather than the later lighter ones.
Many light spindle marks, which are really only visible when angled towards the light-and a little amount of central hole wear-as can be seen in the images provided.

THIS VINYL REPRESENTS EXACTLY HOW THE BEATLES WANTED YOU TO  HEAR THIS ICONIC ALBUM.
Very displayable...Very playable ;-)

 It is the original cover 1st printing cover.
 Has the two red lines above and below the text to the back.
The flipbacks are in superb, strong condition, with their lovely rounded edges.
Has the GARROD & LOFTHOUSE credit and Patent Number: 943.895.
There are some lines to the white background which have been done through the printing process..Strange.
Also has spidering to the front laminate, near the opening.
To the back there has been a very well repaired tear across the length of the sleeve-but now remains strong and harder to spot.
The corners have just some light rubbing/knocking...See if you can spot it in images 7 & 8..?!
Small name to the bottom right corner on the back card.

SUPERB strong & LEGIBLE spine.

White die-cut.
It is a correct period inner with "MADE IN ENGLAND" rather than the later Made In Great Britain text.
Some discolouration to the paper, with a little nick to the opening but NO SPLITS or WRITING.

All in all it is a VERY rare, VERY first  pressing of a wonderful album. She is one heck of a rare beauty, sounds great and remains alltogether in her ORIGINALITY!!! Even the light occasional background noise adds to it's authenticity.
