Description

Absolutely gorgeous original 1962 copy of the classic Anita O'Day and the Three Sounds LP on Verve stereo V6-8514. Produced by Creed Taylor with his inimitable sound. This is O'Day at her all-time best, with a small jazz combo that really creates an intimate atmosphere in which her emotional style really shines better than on any other record, in many peoples' opinions. Anyhow this copy is just gorgeous. There are a couple of very light superficial scuffs on the disc but they don't affect the play in the least. It plays pretty much flawlessly and just beautifully. The laminated gatefold cover is likewise just beautiful, with a cutout hole at the lower left (as with most copies) and some tape labels at the top corners. Slightly bumped lower right corner as well, but that's all. Aside from that the cover is absolutely pristine and gorgeously clean. This is a top original copy, hard to beat.
