Description

Angel Records original mono recording 35282, earliest red label disc pressed in the UK by EMI.  Does not have the original jacket.  The record comes in a plain white jacket that has a copy of the original artwork pasted on the front.  Very presentable, see pics.  Made at the same factory in England, with the same stampers, as the mega-rare and expensive 33CX 1288.  Matrix and stamper numbers are XAX 614-5N and XAX 764-1N,  very early stampers.  

Johanna Martzy plays the J. S. Bach Sonata No. 3 for solo violin in C major, BWV 1005, and the Partita No. 3 in E major, BWV 1006.

Disc VG++, a few superficial marks.  Plays very nicely with very little surface noise, playgraded all the way through, with a mono cartidge.  Small piece of tape on the side one label.  The owner put it on all of his records to easily identify the side.  I'm sure it could be removed with care, but I leave that up to the buyer.
