Description
Fantastic very hard to find 78 by Baby Face Leroy Trio. Songs are: "Rollin' And Tumblin' Part 1" b/w "Rollin' And Tumblin' Part 2". Parkway Records #501 released in 1950. Condition is Good some wear on labels, several surface marks/light to moderate "feeler" scratches, small outer edge wear spot (see photo). Plays through fine with surface noise. Looks like it could benefit from a thorough ultra-sonic cleaning or other professional cleaning as I just gave it a basic distilled water wiping clean before recording the soundclip.

Very rare and very desirable classic Chicago Blues realistically priced for the grade. A better copy would be nice but is going to cost several times more even if you get the chance to pick one up so here is a copy to fill that gap in any serious blues collection.Check the clip below to hear a soundclip from the actual record being offered here. As noted above the record could benefit from a thorough cleaning. Please note the record was recorded in Stereo on a Numark PT-01 with the 78 stylus for unit (which is not the best quality). Soundclip is intended strictly for review purposes. If you have a quality mono 78 equipment fidelity may play better after a thorough cleaning

Grading Scale:
10: Mint Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks, beautiful in every way. Very few records will make mint.
9: Mint- Very clean, only a few light marks. A great record.
8: Excellent (VG++) Condition between 7 and 9.
7: VG+ Used, but not abused. Light scratches only. Should play, and look very nice with minimal surface noise.
6: VG Still a nice record. Looks a bit used, light scratches, no gouges, still plays well, some surface noise.
5: VG- A bit rough but will play ok. Fills the collection.
4: G Plays very rough. Has multiple scratches. What a bargain!!
3-2-1: It only goes down from here.
