Record Label: Black labels. “Long Playing Microgroove” 33 1/3 r.p.m.
4 mono record albums, each in its own cardboard jacket. Program notes are on the back of each jacket. All four jackets are in a cardboard box, with embossed lettering on the front which says:
“1685-1750 200th Anniversary--Johann Sebastian Bach. Three Sonatas, Three Partitas for Unaccompanied Violin.” Mercury Records.
The pieces played are:
Sonata No 1 in G Minor, Sonata No 2 in A Minor, Partita No 1 in B Minor, Partita No 2 in D Minor, Sonata No 3 in C Major, Partita No. 3 in E Major
The condition of the records: varies from VG+ to VG. Visual grading.
Condition of the jackets and box: The individual jackets are just below Near Mint (VG++). The box
has some very small spots (actually more like “dots”) of wear, and a few very small and light scratches.
Otherwise, it is in excellent condition, with the printing still very clear and the top lid still firmly attached
to the bottom lid. ?
