Beautiful copy of this very rare Mercury boxset, hardly ever shows up in this form! This is the pressing with the picture cover as shown, rather than the other pressing with the simpler red cover.
Please keep in mind, due to this being a very early vintage pressing the vinyl quality is not perfect, and will have some imperfections and occasional surface noise. However the sound is beautiful and overall this was a very well-taken-care-of boxset. I recommend playing these with a mono needle for the best reproduction of sound quality.
CONDITION:
COVER: VG (Some rubbing and loss to the opening on the cover, some other general wear, however interior is clean and sharp and in great shape for it's age. The cover flap has not torn at the seam as is so common with boxsets of this era.
LABELS: Clean overall, with very minor spindle marks only.
VINYL: Disc 1: Side 1 VG (a notable mark on A1 causes pops, see photo) Side 2 VG+ (cluster of small marks on B2 causes sporadic light pops, one small mark on B3 causes some light pops) Disc 2: Side 1 VG+ (a few small marks on A2 cause pops, so A2 plays VG while the rest of the side plays great), Side 2 NM. Two minor pressing bubbles. Disc 3: EX, very nice shape. (I see a very minor storage warp to this disc but DNAP at all for me) Disc 4: VG+ (Looks very clean overall. A small mark cluster on A2 causes a few pops. Light mark on B2 causes some light pops.)
BOOKLET: Has some yellowing and foxing to outside, but bright and clean in interior pages.
This boxset is large and fragile so thus the shipping price will be higher, however due to it's value I am willing to include FREE safe and careful domestic shipping with the price!
