Description

The Beatles - 'A Hard Day's Night'. PMC 1230

The Beatles 1964 UK 1st MONO UK EXPORT FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the ’A Hard Day's Night!' LP. Released on the 10th July 1964, it is offered here FULLY COMPLETE and in WONDERFUL condition.

These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.

Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Sold in UK....' text, the 'Recoding First Published 1964' text and have 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd....' rim print. The ‘MT’ tax code is embossed on the side one label. Both sides of the vinyl have the very earliest matrix numbers - 3N/3N. It comes fully complete with the original 'Emitex' inner sleeve and rarer Ernest J. Day MONO sleeve.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. XEX 481-3N 1 GRT

Side 2. XEX 482-3N 3 GDP

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT- condition.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition.

The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition. I will include an additional sleeve to protect the original.

This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.55. EU recorded postage is: £12.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £18.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
