THE BEATLES Please Please Me Black Gold Parlophone UK
PMC 1202 1st press MONO with 'Dick James Mus. Co' publishing credits
Matrix side 1 XEX 421-1N and L Matrix side 2 XEX 422-1N and O
The cover has the flip back 'Ernest J.Day & Co Ltd London' credit and the large MONO front indicator and the 'Angus McBean' photograph credit at the extreme bottom right hand corner.
The vinyl is in Good plus condition with several marks and occasional light scuffs and scratches that cause some background noise in places but nothing too deep so no jumps. Both sides play better than they look as the vinyl is good quality, I would say the playgrade is closer to VG than the visual grade of G.
The cover does show several signs of wear and was taped although most of that has fallen off through age. There are several creases and some spine and edge damage as per most copies.
Emitex inner is original but a little tatty!
Best to look at pictures carefully, labels have spindle wear but overall this is not a bad copy of an lp that is extremely rare and collectable.
