After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. . George Harrison Autograph!
This auction is for a card that's been signed by Beatles guitarist George Harrison!
I bought this autograph in November of 2001 when news was spreading fast that George was seriously unwell. I bought it as 100% authentic on eBay from an American autograph dealer called Nick Bougas who obtained this signature personally after George Harrison's interview on a radio interview show called Rockline, on which George appeared as a guest on August 24th, 1992. Nick provided me a full story in an email on how he and a friend obtained the signature when I bought it from him - I have printed this out in full and will include it with the signature.
Sadly, after contacting Frank Caiazzo recently regarding this signature, he is no longer providing COAs any more for Beatles autographs so I am unable to obtain one for this item. I've provided detailed, close up photographs of the signature though and of the back of the index card it's on so that the bidder can make up their own mind.
The card measures 5" x 3", the signature itself measures 3 1/2" long.
Due to the fact that I am unable to obtain a COA for this item it is being sold as-is.
