Description
This is the original UK 45 DEMO by the BEATLES, HELLO GOODBYE / I AM THE WALRUS, 1967 on the PARLOPHONE green label R5655, "The Gramophone Co.Ltd" is credited around the rim of the label on each side and the date of release (24.11.67) in the centre of each label, with a white 'A' on the A side. Matrix numbers are, SIDE A :- 7XCE 18433-1, SIDE B :- 7XCE 18434-1, EMI stamper codes are, SIDE A :- 1 / G, SIDE B :- 1 / G, and has on each side in the dead wax KT top middle. This MEGA RARE DEMO comes with it's correct 1967 UK Parlophone sleeve.
The sleeve is in EX condition, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, lovely condition.
The vinyl is in VG condition, some quite a few light marks, I have played this DEMO (very carefully!), and iT plays very well, the quality is SUPERB, playing with crisp clear clarity, their is a little crackle to be heard at the start of each side, and only in a few quiet sections of the two tracks.
The label's are in VG+++ condition, SIDE A is lovely and clean, with no unwanted writing, and no scuffs, the spindal hole area has little or no wear, SIDE B has minimal wear, with a little scuffing, not too visually intrusive, their is no unwanted writing, the spindal hole area has a little wear.
Altogether a very respectable copy of this MEGA RARE original 1967 UK DEMO 45 by the BEALTES, HELLO GOODBYE / I AM THE WALRUS.
