Description

Here's an extremely rare 180 gram vinyl test pressing of an unissued mono remaster of Please Please Me, pressed in 2011 at the defunct Rainbo pressing plant in LA. We've determined that the Rainbo matrix numbers (S-77045/6) correspond to mid 2011, according to the plant's pressing schedule. Evidently, this was made for Capitol's Beatles In Mono series, but was shelved for over two years, when a subsequent pressing was released with different matrix etchings in September of 2014. The record is near-mint with a couple of extremely light sleeve marks that do not affect play. Matrix etchings are as follows:

Side 1: S-77045 RE-1 W
Side 2: S-77046 RE-1 i...i N
