Description

Up for your bidding pleasure is a Bud Shank Quintet 10" Jazz LP Record Album Vinyl. Nocturne NLP2. c.1953. This Bud Shank Quintet jazz record is in very good condition (see attached photos). Bud Shank's alto saxophone is the foreground instrument in this very tasty jazz recording. The record has a few visual/optical markings that do not affect the listening experience. The record and sleeve have a combined weight of 8.4oz. Of course I'll ship USPS Media Mail to save you money unless instructed to do otherwise. So buy it, listen to it, or simply collect it, but just don't miss out on it. I use the Jerry Osborn's Rockin' Records grading system: M, NM, VG+, VG, G+, and G. I tend to grade pretty hard, but if you disagree with me, do not hesitate to return the record for a full refund.

  • ARTIST: Bud Shank
  • FORMAT: 10" 33-1/3rpm LP
  • TITLE: Bud Shank Quintet
  • LABEL: Nocturne Records
  • NUMBER: NLP2
  • MONO/STEREO: Monophonic
  • COVER GRADE/DESCRIPTION: VG/There is a 3-1/4" split at the top entrance and some ringwear scuffing in the darker areas of the front cover. There is a corner bump in the lower left-hand corner where the record cover has probably been dropped at some point in time. There is some edge wear, too. The back cover has ringwear scuff marks.
  • RECORD GRADE DESCRIPTION: VG+/The record has a few optical surface marks that do not affect the enjoyment of the music. There is very light surface noise and an occasional pop/click throughout that may be eliminated with a professional cleaning, but no repeat pops. There are marks in the blank area at the end of the record that may be scuffing from the unprotected record within the cover. I do not listen to any records that I sell with a $50,000 stereo system. If you would like a CD-type experience, then do not buy this record. If you would like to hear jazz music as it was played 61 years ago, on a recording medium from that time, then this record may be for you.
  • ADDITIONAL: Shorty Rogers flugle horn and trumpet, Jimmy Rowles piano, Harry Babasin bass, and Roy Harte drums.

Add this Bud Shank Quintet 10" Jazz LP Record Album Vinyl. Nocturne NLP2. c.1953 to your fabulous album/record collection before someone else adds it to theirs.
