Description
This is "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by The Beatles. This is a Mono issue on the Capitol label, MAS-2653. This album is a first pressing released in 1967.
Mono "Pepper's" are more desirable because of the unique mix that differs greatly from the Stereo version. This is a Scranton #3 pressing housed in the original Psych inner sleeve.
Also, this example features the corrected label variation on Side 1.
On the original issue label variation the title for Track 2, Side 1 was listed as "A Little Help From My Friends." This mistake was later corrected with the proper title, "WITH A Little Help From My Friends." This correction is especially notable for Mono issues of "Pepper's" because by 1967 most record companies were phasing out Mono records.
You will not see very many corrected MONO issues of SPLHCB!
