The Beatles~ Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band~ Original 1967 ~Mono~ Capital LP Record Album ~ MAS-2653. This album has the colorful original rainbow label without the subsidiary inscription along the perimeter. There is a rare variation on this album label which mistitles the second song, instead of " With a Little Help From My Friends" , the song is titled, " A Little Help From My Friends." In addition this Rare Original first cover without "Nems Enterprises" printed above Manufactured by Capital Records, INC. in the lower right back corner and without the line " All rights for United States, Canada, Mexico, and Philippines controlled by Maclen Music LTD. Included with this item is the original Sgt. Pepper Cutout Insert in Mint Condition. Also included with this item is the original "Psychedelic" inner sleeve in Mint Condition. Both of these features help make this a very unique item.The fact that these two inserts are in Mint Condition makes this auction item a fun discovery. This album is not an import, reissue or counterfeit pressing. The cover is thick cardboard, American Style, and is original. The front and back cover are in great shape but not mint and have less than average wear for a 42 year old album with no markings, dents, stains, or water damage of any sort. The inside cover featuring the Fab Four is Beautiful and in Mint Condition. The label and black vinyl show average wear with sheen remaining. It has been played but is in fine shape and not abused.The condition of the cover compares extremely well with other listings posted during the last month. This is the MONO version of this album. Experts state that this album provides a unique and positive listening experience. You can view the MAS 2653 on the back cover photo and the MAS 2653 on the label photo. In addition, you can view the 2653 printed just above George Harrison's left shoulder in the inside cover photo. This MONO version is still preferable to the remastered Apple / EMI CD. There is normal shelf wear on this album with no damage at all. There is no writing, no stamps, no bar codes, no warping, no wrinkles, no creases, no cutouts, no holes drilled, no mold or mildew, no scratches, no glue, and no stickers.
