Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band LP
Original 1st pressing from 1967 in wonderful condition
Complete with cut-out insert and the psychedelic red/white inner sleeve
Inner Cover
* The psychedelic red/white inner sleeve only issued with the 1st pressing
* EX-
* Completely intact, with no holes, no tears, no writing
* No seam splits
Outer Cover
* Original 1967 heavyweight laminated gatefold sleeve.
* Made by Garrod and Lofthouse (their credit where it should be - on back cover at bottom right)
* In a wonderful VG++ condition.
* The laminate is fully stuck down, as are the flapbacks on the inside
* No holes, no tears, no writing, and no scuffing at the record entrance.
* Spine is in very good condition with all words clearly visible (this is where wear often occurs first)
* A few faint creases, so minor as to be hardly worth mentioning.
Cardboard Cutout
* NM near mint condition
* Completely unmarked
* "Sold in UK subject to..." at top of all labels
* KT tax code stamped on side 1 - (just visible in the photo, the correct code for 1967)
* Label PMC 7027 ie mono
* Matrices on vinyl runoff XEX637-1 and 638-1
This wonderful LP has been not just visually graded but has also been graded by playing on a quality deck and listening to both sides, all the way through.
The LP is graded VG ++
Side 1 VG++ has visually two light superficial marks, one of these is not detectable on the sound track, the second gives a quiet tick on 3 revolutions of "she's leaving home".
Side 2 VG++ has visually a few light scuffs and onlyone light mark at the end of the last track -this is not detectable on the sound track.
