PARLOPHONE PMC 7027 Mono 1967 Made in Gt.Britain.

This is a 1st Press copy of the classic 1967 Beatles album in original Mono.

Matrix No's are XEX 637 - 1 and XEX 638 - 1. 

Yellow Parlophone logo with Silver Text on Black label. "The Gramophone Co.Ltd." in the radial text and "Sold in the UK subject to Resale Price Conditions etc." across the label at the centre. Northern Songs, NCB. Made in Gt.Britain at bottom of label. Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd., laminated gatefold cover with flip-back glue tabs on inner spread. Complete with full colour, single sided 'Cut-outs' card with printed signatures of Peter Blake and Jann Haworth at the foot.

Record condition: Very good condition with light surface marks visible. No major scratches or anything that affects the play badly. I've played both sides of the record and there is a little bit of background noise in between certain tracks now and again. There are no stops or sticks and the record plays really well all the way through.     

Label condition:  The labels are both in very good condition with no writing or damage. There is evidence of play around the spindle hole on both sides, but it is certainly not excessive. 

Outer Sleeve/Cover:  Original laminated gatefold sleeve printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd., in very good + condition. Tiny bit of corner wear and slight feathering towards the top of the opening edge. Two or three slight ripples in the laminate towards the middle of the opening edge. The laminate is excellent and hasn't lifted at all. The inner gatefold with the glued flip-backs is in absolutely pristine condition, fabulous. Rear cover has a 3cm vertical thin line in the middle which just shows like a thin white line. Nothing really to bother about. There is very faint evidence of ringwear just starting to show through. It is very minor.

Spine condition: The spine has a little bit of rubbing wear along the edge. 

    Inner Sleeve: Original poly-lined die-cut inner sleeve in very good, original condition.

Summary:  Classic Sgt.Pepper's LP in lovely, original condition.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extras such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
