On offer here is a VERY rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) called "Strawberry Fields Forever" by The Beatles and is a 1967 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Parlophone label!!!! THIS SINGLE IS MASSIVELY RARE AND VERY HARD TO FIND!!!! BUT THIS ONE IS VERY VERY SPECIAL INDEED!!!! AND I WILL EXPLAIN WHY. FIRSTLY THIS SINGLE IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS UNSPLIT PICTURE SLEEVE!!!! SECONDLY THIS SINGLE HAS INCREDIBLY LOW MOTHER & STAMPER CODES!!!! THE MOTHERS AND STAMPERS ARE 4/GDR FOR THE 'PENNY LANE' SIDE AND AMAZINGLY 1/G FOR THE 'STRAWBERRY FIELDS' SIDE!!!! AMAZINGLY THE STRAWBERRY FIELDS SIDE HAS THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE MOTHER & STAMPER CODES AND YOU CANNOT GET ANY EARLIER!!!! IT IS SERIOUSLY HARD TO FIND MOTHER & STAMPER CODES THIS LOW!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT ANOTHER INDICATION OF JUST HOW EARLY THIS SINGLE REALLY IS - IS THAT IT HAS A 'SAMPLE' STICKER ON THE SIDE 1 LABEL WHICH IS SO CLEARLY 100% ORIGINAL AND HAS NEVER BEEN 'TOUCHED' OR 'PICKED' AT!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS SINGLE IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND PLAYS SUPERBLY!!!! THIS THE 1967 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS PARLOPHONE LABEL, 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, 'THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT, A 'KT' TAX CODE, AND MEGA RARE 1ST PRESS PICTURE SLEEVE!!!! THIS SINGLE IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL UK 1st Pressing on the Parlophone label and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The matrix numbers are 7XCE 18415-1 & 7XCE 18416-2!!!! The Cat No is R 5570. Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The record is in BRILLIANT condition and plays FANTASTICALLY!!!! Most of these 60s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 light NON sounding hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING (if not better) as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and NO crackle!!!! Amazingly even the fragile run on grooves and beginning of 'Strawberry Fields Forever' are 100% silent!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The MEGA RARE 1st Press Picture Sleeve is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO splits, NO rips, only some EXTREMELY light rubbing, and NO writing!!!! And although it has some slight 'ruffling' and some VERY slight yellowing - this is overall a BRILLIANT conditioned Picture Sleeve and EXTREMELY hard to find in this condition (most have at least 1 split)!!!! The Picture Sleeve must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! THIS SINGLE IS MASSIVELY RARE WITH ITS ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE, AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
