Description
The Beatles - 'The Beatles Christmas Record'. LYN 492
The Beatles 1st 1963 UK Fan Club flexi disc 'The Beatles Christmas Record'. Released ONLY to fully paid up members of the UK Beatles Fan Club on the 6th December 1963.
This 1963 fan club flexi disc is the rarest of all the Beatles Christmas discs issued. Once fans found out about the disc coming out from the fan club, more and more people applied to join. Consequently, the Fan Club was unprepared for all the extra subscriptions it received. So in addition to the limited run of Christmas flexis it mailed out in December, they also made a complete extra run of the flexi disks without the sleeves (to save time), which were mailed out in February 1964.
This disc for auction is from the first batch complete with the original fragile sleeve which also doubles as 'The Beatles national newsletter No.2'. Only 25,000 copies of this 1963 flexi disc existed and were sent out to fans.
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT- condition.
The label is in EXCELLENT condition.
