BEATLES UK  –  ABBEY ROAD LP, MISALIGNED APPLE, lovely copy.

1969 PCS 7088 -  APPLE RECORD LABEL.

A first press UK album in 100% original condition featuring:

1. a  Misaligned APPLE logo mispress on the rear of the sleeve.

2. the track ‘ Her Majesty ’ is NOT printed on the record label on side two nor is it printed on the rear of the sleeve BUT the track  DOES play on the record !

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE:  is in  excellent++  condition, the sleeve is fully laminated.  The  thin spine is in excellent condition and all the text  is clear to read.  For its age the sleeve has retained its four excellent sharp corners. As this is a very first pressing of this album it  features the Apple logo on the rear of the sleeve misaligned, to the left !.  EMI were quick to correct this and later sleeves had the Apple logo aligned with the song listing !. There are NO stains, pen writing, splits,  tears, stickers or sticker residue.

THE INNER SLEEVE:    is in excellent  condition  and is the original EMI white sleeve with a   ‘ Patent No. 112 ,5555’ number.     Theres   NO  pen writing, stains,  tears, splits,   stickers or sticker residue.

THE VINYL:   side one is in  excellent++ condition. Side two is in  excellent+ condition.  The vinyl  has retained a its new look,   it is still very  dark and glossy, it is clear that it has not been played very much.     The vinyl is made from the period thick, heavy vinyl.

The Matrix are :       YEX  749 - 2    and    YEX 750 – 1,

The Mother/Stampers are :     ‘ 6   M M R  ’   and   ‘ 1  0 A M M ’.

THE AUDIO:    is near perfect,  the best I have heard for a long time, with excellent quiet ‘ run ins’, a excellent playing copy.   The record lays flat on the turntable and plays without the needle sticking or jumping.

THE LABELS:    are  in  near MINT  condition and look like they have only been played once.   As this is a first pressing side one shows a DARK Green Apple.  The song  ‘ Her Majesty ’  does not appear on the label. Theres  NO pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the labels.
