Description

This is the original UK LP by the BEATLES, SGT.PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, 1967 1st Press MONO, on the black and yellow PARLOPHONE label PMC 7027, with "GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD" credit around the rim of the label's and "Sold in the UK" label credits, and this copy has the MEGA RARE 4th Proof gatefold cover, and "Patents Pending" credits on the cover. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- XEX 637-1, SIDE 2:- XEX 638-1, EMI stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 3 / PP, SIDE 2:- 2 / HG. The LP comes complete with it's original red,pink, and white 1st issue inner sleeve and the original 1st issue 12" by 12" SGT.PEPPER cut-out insert.

The original 1967 1st issue MONO Garrod and Lofthouse laminated gatefold cover with the MEGA RARE "4th PROOF" words in the inside top right hand corner and "Patents Pending" credit on the back left hand corner is in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, the cover maintains al it's original bright vibrant colour, inside and outside, the spine is fully intact and perfectly readable, GREAT condition!.

The vinyl is in VG+++ condition, I have played both sides, and the audio grading is a STUNNING EX+++/MINT-!!!!, playing with clear crisp clarity, the quality of this 1st Press MONO vinyl is BREATHTAKING!, THE BEST I've heard for some time, A STUNNING LISTENING EXPERIENCE!!!.

The label's are in EX+++/MINT- condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no scuffs, the spindal hole shows little or no wear, KT tax code is embossed in the centre of side 2's label.

The vinyl is housed in it's correct and original 1st issue red, pink, and white inner sleeve with "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" and "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" credits on the back bottom right hand corner in white, and in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing and no seam splits, the inner sleeve maintain's al it's bright vibrant red and pink, GREAT condition!.

The original UK 1st issue 12" by 12" SGT.PEPPER cut-out insert is in MINT- condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no rips or tears, the cut-out maintains all it's original vibrant colour, SUPERB condition.

Altogether a SUPERB copy of this original 1967 UK 1st Press MONO LP by the BEATLES, SGT.PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, with the MEGA RARE "4th Proof" printing error, and "Patents Pending" credit, MEGA RARE!.
