BEATLES UK – With the Beatles & Abbey Road, original LPs.

With the Beatles, 1960s issue.

PMC 1206 – original 1960s mono black and yellow Parlophone labels.

A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. side one of the record has very early mother / stampers, being: ‘1  GGM’,

2. the rear of the sleeve has the earlier uncorrected ‘gotta’ spelling, but the record label has the ‘got a’ spelling, for the track ‘You really got a hold on me’ !.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The two opening edges have remained sharp and clean. The spine is in excellent condition and has remained an excellent fresh white in colour and all the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear for the sleeve has remained clean and white for its age. The rear of the sleeve has the period tri flipback design. There are NO tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There are to small names written in blue pen to the rear, top, right of the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve. A very clean and fresh original condition inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stains, stickers or sticker residue to the sleeve. There is a slight split to one of the side edges and to the bottom edge. 

THE RECORD: is in excellent condition, it is made from the original 1960s thick, heavy vinyl. It has remained very dark and glossy.

The matrix are:  XEX  447 – 7 N  and  XEX  448 – 7 N,

The mother / stampers are:  very early  ‘1  G G M’ and   ‘1 6  R H G ’.

THE AUDIO: is near MINT, with excellent quiet grooves, it plays with just some light ‘dusty’ static. It plays with an impressive full, loud period mono sound, an excellent playing copy. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: are in excellent++ condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

Abbey Road LP – 1960s issue.

PCS 7088 – original 1969 Apple record labels.

An early UK issue in original condition, featuring:

1. there is NO mention of the track ‘Her Majesty’ on the record label, nor on the sleeve, but the track DOES play on the record !.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition. The sleeve is fully laminated. The original ‘thin’ spine is in very good condition, it has some signs of rubbing to the middle of the spine, but its a good solid spine and all the text on the spine is clear to read. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stains, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There is some signs of some laminate lifting, to the rear right, bottom edge.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition and is the original period EMI plain white inner sleeve with the text, ‘Patent no. 1,125,555. An excellent clean, well preserved inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stains, stickers or sticker residue.

THE RECORD: side one is in very good condition, side two is in good++ condition. The record is made from the period 1960s ‘thick, heavy vinyl’. The record has remained dark and glossy.

The matrix is:   YEX  749 - 2  and  YEX 750 - 1,

The mother / stampers are :  ‘3   A R ’ and ‘5  P M’.

THE AUDIO: side one plays very good, it plays with some light crackle and some light ‘ticks’ heard here and there. Side two plays good++, it plays with some light crackle and some light ‘ticks’ heard hear and there. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: are in excellent++ condition. As this is a very early issue, side one shows a DARK green Apple colour. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING  -  ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
