Description
- This is a very good FIRST PRESSING UK MONO 2LP SET condition of the “WHITE ALBUM”. PMC7067/8. On APPLE RECORDS. Front cover number 0069128. It comes with the POSTER, THE 4 Photos, and the 2 Black die cut inner sleeves.
- Matrix numbers are; side1( XEX 709-1 HIL), side 2 (XEX 710-1 HH), side 3 (XEX 711-1 GDL), side 4 (XEX 712-1 HR)
- Both records have been pro-cleaned and stored in new White inners. The original die-cut Black inners, both in good condition are included along with those new inner sleeves.
- Overall Vinyl is in Very Good Condition, some surface marks, a little noise between tracks, and some minor noise in quieter sections.
- The most notable background surface noises and audible marks are on tracks 1&2 on side 2( Martha My Dear, I’m so tired and there is also a tiny scratch on Blackbird and some background noise on Piggies).
- There are no bad scratches, no loud clicks, no sticking or skipping/jumps on either record. Both play very well. Nothing in my opinion detracts from the overall sound quality of these 2 records Mono mix. I have played them twice recently on a good quality deck
- This is the Top Loading Cover. Cover wear is shown on the photos, slightly grubby in places, a bit of ring wear and the spine is quite worn where it has been stored laminate has worn but remember these records and the cover is all but 50 years old! There is no writing on this cover. Please do check the photos. & please request more if required.
- The Kiss Poster is in very good condition though there is one 5” split on one of the folds and a 3” split on another from where it has been folded and left in the LP Covers. The poster has not been defaced ot stuck up on a wall, so no pin holes or messy tape marks. And no American censorship either!
- The four original photos are included and are in very good condition. Like the poster they have been stored in the sleeve and there is no discolouring or signs of wear
- To verify this is a FIRST PRESSING I have referred to the Internet most especially thebeatles-collection.com.Among the photos in this listing there are 2 photoshot excerpts from that site. They can verify the Mono FIRST PRESSING details in this listing.
