Description

An original 1963 first album by The Beatles-Please Please Me. The album is in good condition, side two has surface scratches which do-not effect the playing (I have played it recently, no jumping etc...). The cover has very minor wear on bottom corners, otherwise fine. I have seen a few Please Please Me albums for sale, some on the gold label (the first two pressings I understand), this I believe is the first pressing with credits to Dick James Mus. Co. on some tracks. It has the matrix of XEX-421-1N and the stamper on side one appears to be GO (I think, difficult to see). Side two also has the circular groove. The front cover has Photo: Angus McBean below the s on last line of text and the rear has a credit for Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd at the bottom (see photo's). The inner sleeve is the original Emitex one and in good condition. Overall, album and cover etc.. are in good condition.
