THE BEATLES
PLEASE PLEASE ME
1963 1st *MONO* PRESSING
GOLD / BLACK PARLOPHONE LABELS
1 A / 1 T STAMPERS
VINYL VG / LABELS EX / AUDIO EX / SLEEVE VG-
The vinyl surfaces to both sides have some marks consistent with a conservative VG grade, many would grade higher but I like to air on the side of caution. None of these said marks are deep and certainly do not effect playback in anyway, Both sides still have a nice deep shine. This is a piece of vinyl that has been well looked after. This is an extremely early Dick James pressing with stampers 1A / 1T. ~
The labels have Dick James credits and are superb and have to be graded EXCELLENT on both sides and this is a true tell tale sign that this vinyl has been well cared for over the years, there is very little in the way of wear around either side of the spindle hole and the gold lettering is still bright and luxurious. It really would be hard to find a better example of these labels. ~
The original Emitex inner sleeve is still present and is in really nice condition, which finally brings us to the outer sleeve. This is the first gold pressing sleeve with the Angus McBean credit to the far right. The front and spine are really nice but the rear does have some wear to the flibacks, also the is some water staining, Please see pictures.
