Description

Very nice copy of the original mono mix pressing of Bing's all-time classic holiday LP, Merry Christmas, on Decca DL-8128. Second mono pressing on the rainbow Decca label. Very rare to find these mono copies, without the reprocessed stereo. This copy has some wear but it plays beautifully with light crackle mainly only between songs. Maybe a little in some quieter parts but never overwhelming. The music comes through loud and clear and almost the entire time there is no noise noticeable at all. The cover has a seam splits at the top about halfway across, and a 2 1/2" split at the bottom. A little fraying at the upper edge as well. Nonetheless this cover is actually unusually nice. Clean image and graphics, and no creases or stains or writing or dented corners. Actually quite nice. And the original Decca inner is also included. All in all a very nice mono copy.
