BIRDS BIRDS Say Those Magic Words / Daddy Daddy original UK 1966 7" single, Reaction Records (Reaction 591005)
Original '66 release from Bird Birds, the band that featured Ronnie Wood on guitar long before his days in
The Faces and The Rolling Stones.
This 45 is listed in The Record Collector price guide for £500+, making this something of a rarity.
This maybe something to do with the fact that this is their only release under this name, as previously they were
known as The Birds which naturally brought threats of legal action from The Byrds from the U.S.
The push out centre hole is intact and the record is in excellent condition with very little sign of wear and of
having been played. The A side has one light surface mark and the B side has a couple, none of which should affect play.
The area around the centre hole has a couple of spindle marks; it doesn't seem to have been played very much.
