Description
A GENUINE PERIOD PHOTOGRAPH ARCHIVE This collection is a gem of modern history . In the late 1980s a talented local photographer scoured the streets of Leeds in Yorkshire and persuade local punk kids to pose for portraits . Pytor Tryuk was a vetran of WW2 and an ARPS member this was quite outside his normal exhibition work !! . He seems to have formed a good relationship with his "sitters" and captured a fantastic anarchic period of British Culture in the grim North !! These kids may well today be Lawyers or Doctors or perhaps just aging punks
As far as I know these were never published and no other copies exist . The images are in slide form a total of 132 slides with some duplication of sitters and images . low unit cost !!
In a way much more commercial and rarer than Victorian images . A good investment item and with potential to use commercially and republish .
