THE BEATLES - 'ANOTHER BEATLES CHRISTMAS RECORD'
UK 1964 UK FAN-CLUB FLEXI-DISC
Recorded on 26th October 1964, at Abbey Road during one of the 'Beatles For Sale' sessions, this 1-sided 45rpm flexi disc was sent out to UK fan-club members only in December 1964 and contains humorous messages, songs & seasonal greetings from each member of the group.
The disc was pressed by Lyntone Records and bears a red & white custom label: LYN 757
Matrix number: LYN 757-1R
The disc is housed within its original picture cover and comes complete with 'National Newsletter No.4'.
CONDITION
Labels: MINT
A perfect blemish and wear-free example.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Perfectly clean & unmarked surfaces both in strong daylight AND directly beneath halogen light which would have graded higher if it were not for a faint 1cm 'thumbnail' bend in the playing surface. The disc lies entirely flat when playing on the turntable.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has clearly been hardly played and the sound is clear and clean throughout with no significant background noise or any wear to the delicate grooves. Apart from a few ticks & a few faint soft bumps during John's speech (due to the aforementioned bend), there really is very little else to fault here.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A clean & strong example which bears just some very minor handling & storage wear but no major blemishes or faults to any part.
Newsletter: VERY GOOD
Fully intact with some light handling creases & a few age-related blemishes but no major faults.
