Description

The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night

(Parlophone PMC 1230 UK LP 1964)


This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve which is printed by "Garrod & Lofthouse". It has a mid sized "Mono" on the front. It comes with its original tracing-paper lined "Emitex" company inner sleeve.

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has yellow & black "Parlophone" labels. They have "The Parlophone Co. Ltd...", "Recording First..." and "Sold in UK..." texts. Side 1's label has the "KT" tax code embossed around the spindle hole. The record has 1st press XEX 481-3N and XEX 482-3N matrix numbers. The mother stampers are APP 7 and AMA 1 respectively. A genuine UK Mono 1st pressing.


Sleeve: There is some light, mild or more moderate fading on the rear sleeve. There is a small area of minor tape stain at the front sleeve opening - this hardly notices. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is a small & thin stain on the rear sleeve. VG condition

Vinyl: There are some very mild, mild & more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. The tracing-paper lined inner has left a small & thin surface mark on one side. This doesn't notice that much. VG condition. The labels are in VG+ condition & show mild to more moderate spindle wear. The Emitex company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There is more moderate fading.  

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG+ overall & Near Excellent in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. A very reasonable audio copy.

Traceable insurance is already included in the stated P&P price for this listing.
