Description
The Beatles Abbey Road 1st UK Press Vinyl LP -1/-2 Aligned Apple Sleeve EX/EX.
Original 1st UK pressing of the classic Beatles LP “Abbey Road”. Aligned apple sleeve, original plain white “apple” inner. No “Her Majesty” mentioned on sleeve or label.
Matrix numbers/Mothers/Stampers:
Side 1: YEX 749-2 / 4 / RLO
Side 2: YEX 750-1 / 8 / RAM
The vinyl grades as EX overall. It has a couple of very light superficial hairlines and one very small scratch on “come together”. It plays really well throughout except for 4 light clicks on “come together”. The rest of the album plays with beautifully clear audio and no other issues. No background crackle or other issues in spaces between tracks. Genuinely a really nice sounding original copy.
Labels are very clean. A couple of wispy spindle marks at most.
The sleeve has a light crease on one corner. No other issues at all and clean, crisp and without major wear or writing. Very light outline of record on sleeve. EX
Original inner is VG+ with small seam split on one edge.
Genuinely a really nice copy both visually and sonically.
