CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A bright & clean pair with nothing more than a small collection of light spindle trails around the side 1 centre hole only.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Pristine deep-gloss, factory-fresh playing surfaces which bear little more than some some small non-audible turntable scuffs on the side 1 run-in, which do not extend onto the playing surface. There are 2/3 very faint surface lines on side 2 but nothing I would call a scratch. Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a few harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with the few times this disc has been removed from its inner & a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This wonderful sounding pressing is without doubt the finest source for this album, with a depth and clarity missing from the new remastered vinyl. This copy has received minimal careful play on high-end equipment and plays cleanly & clearly throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion anywhere. My single careful play-check at volume detected a touch of light background during some of the quieter passages on side 2, which seems to be present on all copies, and two light ticks between tracks 1 & 2 on side, but I guarantee that you will not be disappointed with the sound quality on this cherished copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT
This fine example retains a clean high-gloss laminate all round with minimal handling/storagewear & no significant or major faults.
The striking front panel retains an excellent mirror-like shine with little more than four 'thumbnail' wrinkles & a light disc impression from storage. All corners are square & unworn and free from any bumps or bruising. Both opening edges are clean & unworn.
The rear panel is just as clean as the front with again, just a touch of storage rubbing to the laminate.
The spine is clean & fully laminated with clear, unworn wording both ends.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with a light disc impression but no writing, tears or seam splits.
