READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning. I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP Magical Mystery Tour 1967 MONO First Pressing in SHRINK, NM EX!
For those unfamiliar, the much rarer MONO mix has some very noticeable differences than the stereo mix. When you get a chance, compare the MONO and STEREO mixes of “I Am the Walrus” and “Blue Jay Way” to get you started. I’ll let you spot the rest.
Vinyl--- EX/EX. This copy looks very close to brand new. However, examining the vinyl under a bare bulb, there are just a few extremely light angel hairs that appear on both sides. Very beautiful vinyl.
Plates--- F7/ G8. Hand-etched letter “O” in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy pressed in Jacksonville.
Cover--- NM. Previous owner took care to Scotch tape the shrinkwrap in such a way that the tape is only on the shrinkwrap to prevent splitting. This precaution has also protected the cover beneath from yellow-staining as the Scotch tape aged. Very cleverly done. You’ll see.
Best MONO cover I’ve ever owned. All borders are still snow-white. Slight push-ins at the mouth corners, not bad.
Promo hole to the top right corner.
Gatefold--- NM. Seems never to have been opened. A quick sniff reveals that the inside of this album cover still smells new, if you’re old enough to remember that smell!
Breathe Holes--- There are two breathe holes on the front cover, just to either side of the “Magical Mystery Tour” colorful title.
Labels--- VG+/VG+. Side 1 label would have remained NM, had not S.F. Miller stamped his name on it. Boo. Side 2 label looks very nice, however, there are white specs throughout. See photo.
Capitol Inner Sleeve--- EX. Generic white inner sleeve with no die-cut hole is present and in great condition. A little yellowed. Has the matching promo hole with the cover. NO SPLITS.
A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.
This is most certainly your keeper.
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
