Wow! Here it is folks. Most likely your final upgrade for an ORIGINAL and RARE 1967 (Mono) pressing of the Beatles' SPLHCB album, short of spending $2500+ on a still sealed copy...This album is STILL IN it's original factory SHRINK WRAP!! Black rainbow Capitol labels with the thick "in house" Jacksonville print! The Mono pressings are much rarer than their Stereo counterparts....clearly seen is the error print for "A little help from my friends" which was later corrected..Capitol MAS-2653. Stamped matrix numbers in trail off areas of vinyl...breathe hole in shrink on from cover (see photo)..Bruce Spizer, in his fantastic book on the Beatles Story on Capitol Records Part Two, pg. 164 states (about the Capitol pressings) that: "There is great demand for the Mono vinyl album." The album comes with its ORIGINAL red inner sleeve and green photo cut-outs card, both near mint in my opinion... please judge for yourself the condition of the vinyl, but I would grade the labels very high with just light spindle hole wear... the gloss is fantastic with only a couple of very light marks. I post a pic of the one I could photo..plays fantastic!! Quite frankly, I've not seen or heard a better opened disc...the cover too is fantastic with only some light rub wear in the red areas on the back where the curvature of the vinyl over the last 50 years came through during storage...NO SEAM SPLITS...minor ding at mouth of openings...a small amount of the shrink is missing at top right and back upper left corner where it appears someone (not me) removed the price sticker...just can't say enough about how pleased I believe the new owner will be! Enjoy!
