THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
1964 UK '5th' *STEREO* PRESSING LP
**NEAR MINT & MID-SIZED COVER**
This rare and NEAR MINT UK '5th' stereo pressing from early 1964 is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3042
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK...' text & 'Parlophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the 'mid-sized' stereo logo.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1
Stamper numbers: 1/RM & 1/RD
Labels: EXCELLENT PLUS
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces are in pristine 'Mint condition and are completely undulled by overplay or incorrect long-term storage.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few minor inner-sleeve removal marks but no scratches or any other wear.
Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This copy has recieved just a few careful plays on good quality equipment and the sound is clear, clean & undistorted throughout.
There are no traces of background noise, crackle or groovewear distortion in either channel on any track.
Both run-ins & all bands play silently without any ticks, clicks or other interference.
Very difficult to upgrade this copy.

An beautiful example of this rare cover with a perfect front panel displaying an undamaged, unscratched laminate.
Apart from two spine bends there is no other creasing, 'thumbnails' or other wear whatsoever.
All corners are clean & sharp and both front & rear opening edges are undamaged.
The rear panel is pristine clean & bright white with no toning, marks or blemishes.
All flipbacks are in perfect condition & the seams are unstressed & unsplit.
The spine is clean & straight with all wording intact and undamaged.
This disc has been carefully audibly graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck fitted with a Shelter 901 cartridge.
