Description

Welcome to my auctions....check out the other vinyl listed, more added each week and follow me so you don't miss out.

My dad was a private collector, he collected thousands and thousands of records from 1950's to early 2000's, many are rarities, obscurities and some are unique, I am not a dealer, just selling the collection now he is unable to do so himself.

You can expect great service/fast dispatch/super strong packaging/combined shipping and honest, no nonsense gradings BUT Please read descriptions.

Beatles - Please Please Me - Gold & Black Labels - Mono - Earliest Gold & Black 1st Issue with Dick James Credits UK Pressing - Mega early Mothers/Stampers 1 GA 1 GA - Extremely Rare LP + Earliest Gold Sleeve

1st pressing which has Dick James Songs Credits On Labels, This is the rarest pressing, these 1st Pressings are becoming harder and harder to find.

Side 1: XEX 421 - 1N   1 GA

Side 2: XEX 422 - 1N   1 GA   (ZT Tax Code around spindle)

Both Sides have quite a few whispy marks and fine scratches (No feelable marks) under strong artificial light. Playtested Below

PLAYTESTED and the audio is strong and vibrant, no deterioration in sound quality, No Jumps, sticks or skips and it lays flat on the turntable. Some static/background in the quiet parts and some clicks more so in the quieter tracks on side 1, This is perfect if you don't mind a bit of crackle but is not for the Purist, this has not been cleaned but has been stored for 40+ years so will benefit from a proper clean which I will let the new owner do/consider. Sold as a fully playing Used record with strong audio and some crackle/static.

Labels both have signs of play(spiders legs) under strong light, Both labels are clean and free from the usual writing etc, a few small white marks from wear...see photos

Original Front laminated Flipback Earliest and rarest Ernest J Day Sleeve has wear. The front of sleeve showssome light rubbing, still has a nice shine, there are a few creases from edges and a crease in middle at the bottom. Corners are worn. Patchy wear to top edge and bottom edge, bottom edge is split in the middle. Some wear to opening edge. The Back of sleeve is clean and still quite white with wear and grubby patches to flipbacks, top flipback on the left has a part missing . Spine is solid and still fully readable but has a small split just above the words....see photos...This is a Nice Example of this Rare Sleeve.

The original EMITEX Inner is clean with some creasing, split to one edge and light discolouration.

A Holy Grail LP In Nice Used Condition as stated above. No Returns.

I will describe any flaws such as wear to sleeves, scuffs, marks or scratches to vinyl and describe them honestly, if you expect a better condition than I have listed then you need to learn to read. I will grade based on visual inspection under artificial light. PLEASE remember this is Vinyl...even brand new vinyl can have clicks and pops...that's part of its charm...if you want perfect audio without background noise...how about CD's or MP3's?
