Welcome to 20th Century Collectables
The Beatles – 7” Please Please Me – Genuine 1963 1st pressing UK Red Parlophone
label dating to the original release date of 11th January 1963.
On offer is this highly respectable example of a 1963 1st issue 7” red Parlophone label (with Ringo on drums).
Pressed for only a very limited time before the switch to the more familiar black label that
would last for most of the decade.
These red labels are without doubt becoming increasingly rare and therefore provide a great investment opportunity as they continue to rise in value.

Audio: nr MINT
Most of the audios on these first issue red labels are not good and suffer from distortion. This particular copy has stunning audio with absolutely no groovewear to any of the music signals. There are no pops or ticks. A great listening experience.
Labels: EXCELLENT+
A very nice set of clean Parlophone red labels and extremely rare in this condition. All the silver text is completely unworn. The labels have some spindle traces consistent with a moderate amount of play. There is no writing to either label. Side 1 carries the early ZT tax code.
Visual: Side 1: VG+/EXC- Side 2: EXCELLENT
The only major mark on the entire record is a light non feelable surface mark on side 1 which does not affect play. Side 2 appears virtually mint in strong daylight under a halogen desklight nothing more is revealed other than light handling and whispy sleeve removal marks. The vinyl lies 100% flat on the turntable.
