Description
This is an original pressing of The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. PMC 7027, matrix numbers XEX. 637-1 and 638-1. Yellow parlophone label, with 'Sold in U.K.' and 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd.' text. The record is VG-; the labels are shiny and bright and side 2 is unblemished, while there are two marks on side 1 that do not affect play. The original red and white inner sleeve and cardboard cut-out are missing. The Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is also VG-. Overall it is in good condition, but there are light creases and a name written in ink (mostly faded) on the back cover. The sleeve has 'Patents pending' and 'Fourth proof' text.
