Beatles Sgt Pepper UK MONO 1st Press w/inner and cutout
Very clean example w/early Patents pending jacket
MONO 1st pressing UK LP of The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Parlophone PMC 7027) with rare Garrod & Lofthouse "Patents pending" gatefold jacket. This LP is also complete with the original psychedelic wave inner sleeve and cutout sheet all in excellent condition.This particular jacket is unusual in that unlike most Sgt. Pepper jackets found, this one DOES list the printer on the rear of the sleeve (in this case, Garrod & Lofthouse). And also unlike most of Pepper sleeves, this one also says "Patents pending" next to the printer.

Grading: Disc (vinyl): (EX): The heavyweight disc is ultra glossy, clean and looks lightly to moderately played. The disc also lies very flat and is NOT warped. Disc (audio): (EX/EX): Audio is clean with only very light surface noise. NO skips, NO jumps, NO loud pops and NO loud distortion. Disc (labels): (EX+/EX+): Both labels are unmarked and clean. There are some very light signs of spindle use. Jacket: (EX+): The fully laminated gatefold "Garrod & Lofthouse" "Patents pending" jacket is in superb condition with only very light wear to the corners. The front, back and inner gatefold are spectacular with just a few very light laminate creases on the back. The spine is nice with very legible text and slight wear. Light feathering at the opening. Overall, hardly any noticeable wear at all. NO dirt, NO writing, NO stickers, NO glue residue and NO split seams at all.
The cutout sheet is near mint and the wave inner sleeve is near mint minus with a split at the bottom.

We will never explain the condition of an item by saying it "looks good for something this old" as we consider that patronizing and an insult to potential buyers. Shipping:
Packaging: All items are professionally packaged with high quality unused materials for shipment. No items will ever be loose in their shipping cartons. Records that are not sealed in their original shrink-wrap will never be shipped in their original jackets. All vinyl will be in poly-lined sleeves and outside of their original jackets so that no seam splitting can result from the shipping process.
Shipping charges for vinyl discs, posters and memorabilia include the cost of postage and boxes with extra padding. Good packaging is not cost effective but we insist upon safe and secure packaging. We do not want you to receive damaged items!
