The Beatles There's A Place Super rare circa 1964 Tollie (VEEJAY) 45rpm acetate. This rare acetate is in excellent condition and is by far the most rare among other rare acetates that we have listed in separate auctions recently discovered in a Swan Record Company Executive Walter Gates estate. We have played this 10" acetate once just for a few seconds and we can confirm it to be The Beatles There's A Place, official version as far as we can tell but could be an alternate take? Acetates deteriorate if played too much. The vintage circa 1964 metal acetate has hand etched NEMS ENT LTD 1212-A in the inner run off groove most likely a Tollie (Veejay) in house production number as it does not match any reference number we could find and would require further research. Acetates are lacquer coated metal discs and are a part of the production of a 45rpm made only to listen for sound quality and then discarded so few have survived especially from 1964 Tollie VEEJAY RECORDS! This is a rare chance to own a circa 1964 Beatles acetate, don't miss out!
