Up for bid is a very rare mono 2 LP set, "The White Album," by The Beatles. This was released by Apple Records (PMC 7067/8) in the UK in 1968. Jacket has a low number (0049234). Both LPs are VG+, each with some light scuffs and some light scratches. Interior labels are very clean. Stamped matrix info for each side is as follows: side 1 -  XEX 709-1 side 2 - XEX 710-1 side 3 - XEX 711-1 side 4 - XEX 712-2. LPs retain a nice gloss. Both LPs play with some surface noise (crackle, tics and pops), with no skips. Listen top a couple of songs / excerpts from each side of this actual set, for reference:

Top loader gatefold jacket is VG+, with splits that run along the seams. There is, however,  a couple of small splits that run perpendicular to the spine (near the center of the spine - see pictures). There are also a couple of small splits that run perpendicular to the top and bottom part of the gatefold jacket along the right side. There is ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is wear on all seams and corners. There is light creasing along the spine. There is some light discoloration along the top in the front and back of the jacket (see pictures). Includes original poster (no tears or pin holes), 4 color prints (no tears or pin holes), a paper spacer, and 2 interior black paper sleeves. This is a must have item for any Beatles collector! Don't miss this rare gem! We will pack this securely for safe delivery - this will be a little heavy due to the inserts we put in the LP mailer.  My apologies, but the first line underneath the sound clips should read: "Top loader gatefold jacket is VG+, with NO splits that run along the seams."
