1968/9 UK 2nd PRESS *STEREO* LP
**EXCELLENT COPY**
This 1968/9 UK '3rd' STEREO pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3045
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover with the 'small' stereo front panel logo.
On the rear panel, track 3 on side 2 is misspelt as; 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me'.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 110-2 & YEX 111-2
Stamper numbers: 3/MM & 2/MG

Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely bright and clean with both sides bearing just a single 2cm light fingernail mark on both sides in strong daylight.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few inner-sleeve paper hairlines but no other wear.
100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
This copy has recieved only careful play on top quality equipment and there is no significant deterioration to the sound quality on any track.
All play without groovewear distortion and apart from a little light backgroud bewtween some tracks, there is little to fault.
There are no clicks, jumps, repeats or any other major faults.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean & unyellowed with a high-gloss, unscratched laminate which bears just a few small wrinkles and a single crease across Ringo's face.
All corners are clean, square & unbumped and both opening edges have no tears or major wear.
The rear panel is clean & white with just a tiny section of missing paper to the upper right corner, but no discolouration, marks or writing.
All flipbacks, seams & the spine are all intact and completely undamaged.
This disc has been carefully audibly graded in its entirety on a Rega P9 deck fitted with a Shelter 901 cartridge.
