Description
Here's an interesting item. The Best Of Five Keys - Aladdin 808. 33-1/3 12" LP. Later pressing, perhaps done in the 70s or 80s? The original AL808 was Lloyd Glenn, so who knows where this number came from!). Record is in near mint condition and looks to have never been played. It is enclosed in a plain cardboard cover that has a picture of the group pasted on the front cover, and signed (not personally but looks to be reproduced onto the paper) by Ray Loper. Also included is a sheet of paper from a notebook (approx. 6"x4-1/2") and hand signed by various group member of The Five Keys. These include Ripley Ingram, Maryland Pierce, Ray Loper, Bernie West and Rudy West. This had to have been signed before 1995, as that is the year that Ripley Ingram died. On the back side it is hand signed by Barbara Sanders and Beverly Coats, who were two of the three backup singers in the group Eddie Cooley & The Dimples. Cooley wrote the famous song "Fever"). An interesting combination of items and certainly uncommon. Well wrapped for secure delivery. Please email should you have any questions.
