Brooks Berry and Scrapper Blackwell - My Heart Struck Sorrow Original 1st Issue Prestige Bluesville 1963 LP
On offer here is a very rare USA Prestige Bluesville release of 'My Heart Struck Sorrow' by the wonderful Scrapper Blackwell and accompanied by Brooks Berry. A great country blues LP which is rarely available and packed with some great tunes and Scrapper's distinct guitar playing style.
The heavy USA laminated front cover is in superb condition and only shows a small amount of wear to the top left corner tip, a really nice example. The reverse in clean and tidy with very light ageing and a RW stamp top right. I have more than 30 Bluesville LP's and nearly all of them have some kind of rubber-stamp such as review copy or RW. No splits or damage or unwanted names, a nice example.
The quality vinyl is very clean, not many plays at all, a couple of very light scuffs/handling marks, nothing to worry or effect playback. Has the RVG stamp in the run out grooves implying it is a Rudy Van Gelder pressing and true 1st issue. The labels are bright and clean with a few spindle marks only. 
Plain paper inner sleeve is excellent.
If you collect Prestige Bluesville LP's you will know that this is one of the toughest to find and it is available here in really nice condition.
